Welcome to Calmo – Bedtime Stories for Kids ("Calmo", "we", "us"). These Terms of Use govern your use of the Calmo app. By downloading or using Calmo you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Apple's Standard License Agreement

Calmo is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). These Terms add to that agreement. If anything in these Terms conflicts with it, Apple's agreement applies.

2. The service

Calmo offers narrated bedtime stories and animated story videos for children. It is designed to be used by children together with, or with the permission of, a parent or guardian. You do not need an account to use Calmo.

3. Calmo Premium subscriptions

• Some stories and videos are free. Calmo Premium unlocks every story and animated video.
• Calmo Premium is offered as a weekly or yearly auto-renewing subscription. The price and length of each plan, and any free trial, are shown in the app before you buy.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase, or when a free trial ends.
• The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store account settings (Settings › your name › Subscriptions). Canceling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
• Purchases, billing and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

4. Your licence to the content

All stories, narration, illustrations, videos and other content in Calmo belong to us or to their respective authors and licensors. You may use them for personal, non-commercial listening and viewing in the app. You may not copy, record, redistribute, sell, publicly perform or modify the content.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to get around the subscription, reverse-engineer the app, or use it in any unlawful way.

6. Changes to the app and these Terms

We may update, add or remove stories and features over time. We may also update these Terms; the new version will be posted on this page with a new date. Continuing to use Calmo after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Calmo is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that the app will always be available or error-free, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from its use. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer law.
